The NH Hill Climb Committee and Pats Peak Race Department has noticed a glitch during the post race timing review. After a detailed review of all the evidence, it has been determined that the electronic timing system lost beam prior to the racer breaking that beam.  In this case, official timing reverts to a backup system that is in place. The back up scoring showed a time of 30.58 seconds.

This conflicts with the NASTAR primary system time of  25.10 seconds.  Due to this difference as well as other evidence, the NH Hill Climb Committee will be awarding another 600 mod,1st Place trophy to Ryan Prouins who had a time of 29.55.

In addition to affecting the 600 mod class, this timing error also affects the payout for the fastest time of the day.  Another payout will be awarded to Brian Whalley with a time of  26.79 in the 800 mod class.

Congratulations to all and we apologize for the error.  We work hard to make this event better every year. After all the facts were looked at and a determination was made, this was the best way to keep this fair to all.  Thanks for your understanding and we will see you next spring.
