NH Hill Climb Challenge Drag Racing

Drag racing will start at 1:00

The fan, Vintage and 500 Liquid classes will run at 1:00 - before the hillclimb ends - Riders in these classes should not be entered in any mod or the open class at the hillclimb

The rest of the classes will start drag racing after the HillClimb ends (est 2:30)
Racing will be on a groomed 660 ft track and be side by side

The start will have lights and a timing system will be in place

Every sled will run at least twice – winners keep racing

Racing will be side by side with cones/flags between lanes – don’t hit them !!

Entry will be $20 for the first class and $15 for each additional class

Registration for the drags will be on-site at the event

Racer requirements:

All Racers must have the following:

 

  1. 1. Dot approved helmet with eye protection.
  2. 2. Gloves
  3. 3. Boots
  4. 4. Full-length coat - No exposed skin
  5. 5. Pants
  6. 6. Chest protector is recommended
  7. 7. Helmet must be worn if sled is moving - This includes loading and unloading
  8. 8. Tether must be attached to a person when sled is running (if sled has a tether)
  9. There is no age limit for the fan cooled race classes. Riders under 12 are restricted to fan cooled race classes only. Riders 16 and under must ride a 600 liquid cooled  snowmobile or smaller. NO EXCEPTIONS.

All race sleds must meet following requirements:


  1. Full loop skis
  2. Full snow flap
  3. Working kill switch
  4. Complete windshield, no broken ones
  5. Operating brake
  6. Overall safe condition
  7. All Mod sleds must have an ISR Clutch guard
  8. Tether must be attached to a person when sled is running (if sled has a tether)
  9. No Sled cleanouts unless a backstop is in place

 

 

Drag Race:

 

The  Open Drag class is sponsored by Reynolds Auto of Manchester NH. Due to their generous donation there will be a $500 cash purse for this race class.

First  place - open race class - 2 stroke $100

2nd  place - open race class - 2 stroke $50

3”rd place - open race class - 2 stroke$25

3”rd place - open race class - 4 stroke $25

 

Winner of : :"Drag King"      $150
(Runoff between top 2 stroke and 4 stroke sleds)
